We concentrate on doing one thing and doing it well. We have installed a wide variety of countertops of all sizes and textures in all kinds of situations. As a result, we know the process of installing granite and quartz counters extremely well.
Unlike a general contractor who performs a wide variety of jobs in and around a house, we concentrate on just a single job. You could say we are not a jack of all trades. We are a master of one. We take great pride in mastering the the art of granite countertops around Olathe, Overland Park, Kansas City and Lenexa!
Each project — whether it be a kitchen remodel, a home being built from scratch, a bathroom remodel, or other need for granite countertops — follows a five-step process. This process ensures that the work that is performed follows a rigorous procedure to ensure that each job is performed accurately and meticulously from start to finish.
At the start, we visit your home and get a feel for the layout that you are wanting. There, an estimator will take measurements, discuss your needs and provide you with a quote. Alternatively, we can provide a bid on measurements that you email to us. Armed with these measurements, we visit your home to make templates of your countertops at your Kansas City home. We listen to your preferences and discuss with you specifics of the templates, such as corners and overhangs. We will use these templates to prepare the material to be used on your project.
The third step in the process is for you to choose the material that we will use for your project. We provide a wide selection to meet your personal preferences for color, texture and finish. We also seek to complement your home’s interior design.
For the fourth step, we place the templates for your project onto the slabs that you have selected, whether they be quartz countertops, marble countertops or other stone countertops. In this step, we also settle on your final selections for edges and sinks.
Finally, we visit your home in Kansas City, Olathe, Overland Park or Lenexa to install the countertops, which takes about half a day to complete.
When the project is completed, you can rest assured that it has been done efficiently and correctly.
We can draw on a wide variety of sources worldwide for almost every type of granite countertop that you require near Kansas City. From smaller slabs that will work for laundry rooms, tables or a vanity, to larger slabs that are generally the most popular choice, we enable you to find just what you want.
Our showroom displays the five most common granite colors, but we enable you to see a large variety of options because we are three miles from Kansas City’s main importers of natural stone.
Here is what we offer when it comes to your choices:
o We deal only in natural stone, which is a superb material that has been used for centuries to construct fixtures designed to last a long time. Natural stone is friendly to the environment. It does not rust, burn or decay.
o We help you decide which type of natural stone will work for you. Whether you are considering quartz countertops, marble countertops, soapstone countertops, or other stone countertops, we advise you on the qualities of each and what we believe will work best in your situation. Granite kitchen countertops and quartz countertops probably work best when it comes to kitchen countertops, most popular in Kansas City, but many homeowners like the look of soapstone and are prepared to buff out and re-oil scratches and dents.
o We advise you on colors, which range from light to dark, or veined, in exotic granite, which will work best depending on the color and nature of the other fixtures and fittings in your kitchen, bathroom, or elsewhere.
At all times we listen carefully to your preferences and let you make the final decision on what type of stone you believe will work best for you.
We balance quality with cost in order to keep the cost of a granite counter affordable. In doing so, we seek out materials of top quality that will be easy to clean and simple to maintain.
At the same time, we work efficiently and effectively in order to keep costs under control. Because we know the preparation and installation process so well, we never need to waste time trying different ways of doing the job or using the customer’s time to experiment with what works. We do it right the first time. It all makes the cost of a granite counter from Granite Tops & Quartz Center within your budgetary constraints.
From the outset, we provide you with a quote on which you can rely. Because we have considerable experience in quoting projects and seeing them to completion, we will not need to add on extras for unforeseen problems once we undertake the job. What we quote is what you pay.
Affordability has another dimension. Installing a granite countertop correctly takes considerable expertise. As a result, alternatives to top quality professional installation might be considerably more expensive should the project not be done right at the outset. An amateur job means you would be looking at the possible cost of having it redone or altered should the original installation be performed incorrectly.
Should you try to install your own countertop, you run the risk that the granite counters in Kansas City will cost considerably more in terms of the time you would take, the cost of waste or replacement because the stone might not be correctly cut, and the potential cost of having the whole job done over again.
If your kitchen has become out of date and is now showing the worse for wear caused over the years, it is time to consider a kitchen remodel. We can play a major role in such a project because kitchen countertops play a significant role in any kitchen. Its color, design and texture all complement and add to the fixtures, such as the refrigerator and stove, in the room.
So much so, that a well chosen countertop can create a whole new look for the kitchen that is modern and impressive.
In addition, many older kitchens have smaller countertops that presented inadequate space to prepare food. In many cases, we can work with you to redesign your kitchen in order to create more countertop space no matter the size of your kitchen. In addition, we can replace an older countertop with one that can easily be maintained and will not harbor germs that can grow in the cracks and seams of many older countertops.
Similarly, if you bathroom needs remodeling, stone countertops are the complete answer. They can be easily cleaned and maintained. The use of creative colors and textures can also help to brighten a bathroom and create an atmosphere that will suit the general ambience of your house.
