Our Process

Granite Tops & Quartz Center has a simple 5-step process to make sure you are 100% satisfied as a customer. We take you through each step with our countertops and backsplash experts, stay within your budget, and make sure we are finished in a timely manner.

Step 1: Job Quote

The first step in the process is to determine your budget and get an estimate started. If our estimator is headed to your home, which is the best scenario in most cases, we’ll be there for about 15-30 minutes.

You could also measure everything yourself and stop by our office or send an e-mail!(imgtops@sbcglobal.net)

*Note that estimator travels to homes within a 20 mile radius of Lenexa, KS.

Step 2: Template

The second step in the process is to build the template of your countertops. We will need to come to your home and determine exact placements and sizes.

During this step, you will be able to choose the type of corners, the overhang you are looking for and more!

Step 3: Slab Selection

This is the where you select the slabs for your project!  From neutrals to greens to blacks, selecting your material is all about personal preference.  Whether you like the consistency of quartz or the veining in an exotic granite, we have a slab for your space.

Granite Tops & Quartz Center stocks some granites, but we can get anything that you choose at one of our wholesale importers.

Step 4: Template Approval

At our showroom, we will put your templates onto your hand-selected slabs.  During this appointment, you can see exactly where seams and cutouts will be.  We will also finalize your
edge and sink selections at this time.  This is the final step before we cut your material!

Step 5: Installation

Installations take approximately half a day depending on the size of the job.  All countertops, with the exception of quartz, are sealed.

After installation, you can start enjoying your new countertops!  We are always here if you have any questions!
